Monkfish is a mild, firm and dense fish. It’s sometimes called ‘poor man’s lobster’, but you’ll need to eat it yourself to be the judge of that. Its firm texture means it’s super versatile, but we think it’s particularly good roasted, barbecued, or in curries.
